Several heroes are capable of removing stress from themselves or a party member. It is worth noting that you can also reduce Stress using some Trinkets, but this isn't nearly as reliable. There are three main ways to reduce Stress: Fights and Meltdowns both inflict stress on other party members, which can have a negative domino effect on the other Heroes in your party. Heroes with high stress fight more, and are likely to have a Meltdown in combat. While some Stress is unavoidable during each run, you'll want to keep the total stress in your party low.
